Using the painting Lady in Black by Lesser Ury, I animated the mysterious figure walking and approaching the viewer as snow falls out of the frame.
Captivated by the dichotomy of the peaceful landscape and the shadowy woman, I wanted to highlight that feeling by bringing the scene to life. As she walks closer and closer to the viewer, the boundary between observer and participant is temporarily broken.
